This is technically a "whatever the hell I want blog". ... and apparently what I want now is mostly Doctor Who and my dumb crush on Rory Williams/Arthur Darvill, with a small smattering of games and music... and maybe some Sherlock now.

She’s referencing the show itself. As in ‘Doctor Who’ No, she isn’t. For someone, she says. A person, the Doctor.  It might be that thing about  demonstrating that Amy doesn’t know much about it, it’s the most logical thing. Seeing this out of context and putting any opinions on the show aside I think this can maybe be excused simply because Anyone who doesn’t watch the show calls him Doctor Who The old credits sometimes called him Dr. Who at times Even Matt Smith, who often spouts the catchphrase “Trust me, I’m THE DOCTOR” has said “oh my god I’m Doctor Who!” So saying it like that might just be easier for anyone who has no clue of the show to catch on to, simplifying a reference for the masses at the cost of accuracy. Not saying that’s what it is, just a possibility.
